Service Bus Explorer TUI is a lightweight, cross-platform terminal user interface developed by CosX that enables administrators and developers to interact with Azure Service Bus resources directly from the command line. Written in Rust and rendered with the ratatui crate, the tool exposes a keyboard-driven menu system for browsing namespaces, inspecting queues and topics, managing subscriptions, and manipulating individual messages without leaving the terminal. Authentication can be performed through either shared-access-signature tokens or native Azure Active Directory flows, allowing the utility to operate in both personal development contexts and corporate environments governed by conditional-access policies. Typical use cases include rapid inspection of dead-letter queues during incident response, replaying or purging messages while debugging distributed systems, validating routing rules across topic subscriptions, and scripting bulk operations that would otherwise require multiple Azure portal clicks or lengthy PowerShell modules. Because the interface is rendered entirely in text mode, it functions identically on Windows, macOS, and Linux, making it suitable for containerized CI pipelines or remote SSH sessions where graphical tools are unavailable. The current release, version 0.0.15, is the second published build and continues the author’s incremental roadmap toward feature parity with larger graphical explorers while preserving the minimal footprint demanded by terminal workflows.
