Tidepool Uploader 2.65.0, released by the Tidepool Project as the fifth major iteration of the program, is an open-source Electron utility designed to extract and transmit diabetes-device data to Tidepool’s secure cloud back-end. Positioned within the Health & Fitness category, the application consolidates readings from every insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor sold in the United States, while also accommodating dozens of blood-glucose meters and companion diabetes mobile apps. After installation on Windows, macOS, or Linux, the software auto-detectes connected devices via USB, Bluetooth, or serial port, parses proprietary data formats, and uploads time-synchronized glucose, insulin, carbohydrate, and activity records to the user’s private Tidepool account for visualization, sharing with clinicians, and integration with other care tools. Clinicians, caregivers, and patients rely on the uploader during routine clinic visits, remote-monitoring workflows, and periodic data-backup routines, eliminating the need for multiple vendor-specific desktop programs. The current 2.65.0 build refines driver support for recently approved CGMs and pumps, streamlines pairing wizards, and implements stronger encryption during transit. Tidepool Uploader is available for free on get.nero.com, where downloads are delivered through trusted Windows package sources such as winget, always supplying the newest release and enabling batch installation alongside other applications.
